Specialties: Gary is an IFS/Crystal Reports Developer who analyses complex data to provide innovative, high quality reporting solutions for executive and senior management decision making. I develop all types of reports which cover adhoc, operational and analytical reporting, including Quick Reports, Crystal Reports, IFS Output documents, IFS BusinessAnalytics, IFS Business Reporter and IFS Lobbies.
Gary is also adept at the creation of dynamic data connections, data foundations, business elements, views and universes in SAP BO Enterprise. Report design and scheduling of report instances.
Previous roles have ranged from the Principal Reporting Analyst and Developer on a large multi-site, multi-national implementation of IFS Applications for a life sciences/analytical standards organisation to being the technical lead for a high profile UK oil industry rollout. In the former he was responsible for defining a robust process for the capture and analysis of reporting requirements from the disparate strands of the business, creating a common reporting approach and developing and testing many of the subsequent reports. In the latter, his main tasks included Management of Data Migration, Creation of Crystal Reports / SQL Quick Reports and Introduction of Bar Coding hardware and processes. This included providing documentation and training material for members of the project team and end users, including presentations to senior management and the provision of one to one and group training sessions. An amiable team player, who is equally at home working alone or collaboratively, Gary can assist in the full range of technical support processes from implementing a robust reporting suite, supporting the IFS application or pioneering novel technical solutions to business problems.
